On Friday evening, I went on my first DC adventure. A fellow FA, Cheryl, and I headed for Georgetown. Georgetown is a district within Washington D.C. Cheryl is very familiar with the area and wanted to take me to Georgetown Cupcakes. The shop is home to the TLC’s show, D.C. Cupcakes.
I was shocked at the first sight I saw. There was a line up the street. We got there around 8:15 which was 45 minutes until closing and still there was a line! Even when we left there were people still waiting!
This is the site I was greeted by as we were finally off the street and in the shop!
A picture of the inside of the bakery! And of course our box of treats. Flavors included: Red Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Squared, White Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Banana, and Lava Fudge.
The next time you’re in Washington D.C., check out Georgetown Cupcakes!
