Yesterday, we spent the day out and about around Washington D.C. The morning starts off with the White House mission “See, Snap, Go” and finishes at the Newseum. If you are visiting D.C. anytime soon, the Newseum is a must see. I absolutely love this place more and more each week we come. One of the fun quirky features is found in the bathroom. Shuffled between sterile, boring, white tiles are aqua glass tiles featuring fun lines from newspapers. This tile was in my stall today.
Yes, I am the weirdo who has camera snaps coming from my bathroom stall!
Later in the afternoon, we visited the “Big Three.” This is also known as the Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korean Memorials. Mr. Abe dropped by to say hello.
For so many scholars, the Lincoln Memorial is their favorite visit of the day. His presence, legacy, and character surrounds everyone inside the statuary.
