The Recent Decline in Blog Posts

Hey Y’all!

You’ve probably noticed my absence lately from the blog.  It hasn’t come without notice on my part.  About a week ago, I realized my media memory was full within WordPress.  Just like I had done in the past, I deleted a batch of pictures expecting them to stay on the already published posts.  I had practiced this a few times and it seemed to work.  Unlike those previous times, this did not.  I first realized this with my deleted header of “Homegrown Joy.”  What may seem like a small mistake and error, in fact, was not.

I am now reloading and organizing previously posted pictures, trying to find ones that I uploaded from my phone, and researching storage options.

It turns out my sister may have been right.  I DO have too many pictures!  All this dreary news has kept me from posting this past week; however, I am ready to tackle this problem and start posting away.  I’ve got some fun blogs planned for this week – pictures and all!

Thanks for being patient while I search for the joy behind this mistake!

In the meantime, how about some uplifting music that leaves me encouraged.   Shawn McDonald has been a favorite of mine for the past 4 years or so.  While my friend, Kathryn, attended Howard Payne University, he put on a concert for their music festival.  Robyn and I were all over that round trip and greatly enjoyed the concert.  We even got to meet him afterwards!  This song is such a wonderful reminder of God’s greatness.  Shawn’s “doodadoodadoodoo’s” provide a nice touch too!  Here is Rise by Shawn McDonald.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! {1 John 3:1}
