In the aftermath of Boston, we choose to run.

Several of the bloggers I follow wrote posts about the Boston Marathon tragedy yesterday.  You can read their reactions here, here, here, and here.  People were left feeling angry, confused, grateful, and disappointed.  I experienced an overwhelming amount of sadness after hearing the news.  All of those feelings and reactions are valid and expected with happenings completely out of our control.  Today, I am joining many others in the running community to run.  Will you join me?

Run towards gratitude, towards faith, towards love. Just run. #prayersforBoston

And if you are losing faith in human nature, please read this incredibly written post on the Washington Post.

Thank you so much for the shout-out and for the thoughts here, such a sad time to be a Bostonian, hm? I’m still at a loss for the right words.
